memorial day weekend
Don’t you just love 3 day weekends?! Saturday’s weather is shaping up very nicely and I hope it stays with us for the remainder of the weekend.
Stuff going on this holiday weekend:
This Memorial day marks the first annual 5K “ring around the roses” race at Whetstone Park to benefit the Clintonville Resource Center. Kre8, our in house kids’ arts and crafts club, will be onsite offering a FREE craft for the little ones. So stop on by the booth!
Race details: EAS Clintonville 5K “Ring Around the Roses” 9:00AM. Benefits Clintonville Resource Center. Registration begins 6:30am, kids race, 8:30am. Whetstone Park of Roses, 3923 North High Street, 43214. More info or online registration click here.
Also, there are countless parades going on this Monday. My favorite is the annual Worthington Memorial Day parade. It is a really fun event for the entire family. The parade runs down High Street and ends at Walnut Grove cemetery where a memorial service is held for those who served our country and have since passed. Parade starts at 10:00 am.
